In Office Procedures

Many of our procedures can be performed in the comfort of our offices. These are some of the procedures our experienced staff perform everyday

  • Abnormal Bleeding Disorder: Uterine bleeding is considered abnormal if it happens when you are not expecting your menstrual cycle or if your menstrual flow is lighter or heavier than usual. Bleeding is also considered abnormal if it occurs prior to 10 years of age, during pregnancy or after menopause. Most women will experience abnormal bleeding at various times in their lifespan; however, it is better to seek the advice of your doctor if you experience abnormal bleeding. Uterine bleeding can be indicative of adenomyosis, perimenopause, uterine cancer, uterine fibroids, uterine hyperplasia, or uterine polyps.
  • Adolescent Gynecology: Learning about the changes in your body and proper gynecological care as you enter into womanhood is important for any young woman. We offer counseling for menstrual irregularities and vaccination against the Human Pampillomavirus (HPV). HPV generally presents itself on the human body as warts. It is a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) and certain strains of this disease can lead to cervical cancer. Vaccination is a first line of defense against this type of cancer. The center for The Center for Disease Control  (CDC) recommends that the HPV vaccine be administered to children prior to becoming sexually active (ages 11-26). The vaccination process is three injections over the course of six months.
